Queenslands Sunshine Coast will host round 1 of the Surf Kayaking World Championships on Feb 20 and 21.  Whether your goal is to become an active surf kayak competitor or a recreational paddler there is a course for you.

These Surf Kayaking courses are suitable for Surf Kayaks, Play Boats, Sit On Top Kayaks, Waveskis and Surfskis.

Learn essential paddle strokes, bracing and balance techniques, rolling as well as surf hydrology to experience the excitement of kayaking safely in the surf.

Surf Kayaking - Intro Course for existing paddlers

An introduction into the growing sport of surf kayaking.               Learn essential skills to paddle a kayak safely in the surf. 

It is recommended you are a confident swimmer and have basic kayaking skills and able to do an eskimo roll, check out our basic skills courses.

Duration: Full Day (6 Hours)
