Joining a kayaking course is a great way to learn a new skill and meet new friends.

The following Courses are prerequisites for more advanced courses such as whitewater and surf kayak programs.

 

Our kayak instructors are qualified members of Australian Canoeing with vast experience in many paddling disciplines from flatwater paddling, sea kayaking, whitewater, surf kayaking to competition racing. This course is designed to introduce participants to essential paddle stroke selection and technique, bracing, leaning, turning, self rescue and team rescue skills and eskimo rolling.

Kayak Fishing Course - inland

This course is designed for those wishing to become a better kayak fisherman. Learn correct rigging and stowage techniques and very important tips on how best to target fish from a kayak. This course is a practical kayak fishing course held at various locations on local waterways. Participants should have basic kayak skills.
